Beard Discrimination Does Exist

So by now the world should know about Brian Wilson.........NO not Beach Boy Legend Brian Wilson but professional baseball player Brian Wilson. The guy with the most epic beard to grace this plant. (Second behind Jesus of course)

If you remember he was in the news a couple months back about his beard. Here is a clip of the story:

Well Brian and his beard is back in the news. This time its in the form of hate......Yea thats right I said hate.You guys beloved New York Yankees will not sign Brain because of their strict facial hair policy. Nor will Brian cut his beard to be apart of the club. The Yankees only allow neatly groomed mustaches only no hair below the lip. For years the club has had this policy and Brian doesn't want to be apart of it. 

My thing is why does it matter??? A dress code, like the NBA has I can see. But saying we only like our players to look a certain way is border line discrimination. How does a beard or facial hair period stop you from doing you job??????
