2014 Wrap Up
So m friend over at dolcezzasweet.blogspot.com does a year end review of albums/mix tapes/singles for that year. I have been giving my input for a couple years now. This year I was like why not share with you all.
So 2014 a lot of dope projects came out and it was kind of hard for me to rank them in order. My opinions changes daily depending on the mod I'm in.(My reviews include mix tapes)
5. Big K.R.I.T - Cadillactica
For some reason a lot of people over look KRIT and doesn't include him in that new school emcess
4. Young Jeezy - The Autobiography: Seen It All
I want my street rappers to talk about street things. And Jeezy did that on 1/4 Block and Black Eskimo.
3. Schoolboy Q - Oxymoron
I really thought this was going to be some trash after Kendrick had dropped his freshman album, but this stood right up there with K. Dot.
2. YG - My Krazy Life
I wouldn't put YG up there with rappers with bars, but this album told a great story from beginning to end. He even bought back skits that went with the overall project as well.
1. J. Cole - 2014 Forest Hills Drive
Great album nothing much else needs to be said.
Honorable Mentions
Fabolous - Young OG
Stalley - Ohio
Top Singles
5. Migos - Handome & Wealthy
4. DejLoaf - Try Me
3. Bobby Shmurda - Hot Boy
2. Rae Sreammurd - No Type
1. Big Sean - IDFWU
